Ground Guard workmanship protection

10-Year Waterproofing Workmanship Warranty.

Qualifying Ground Guard waterproofing work can include a written 10-year workmanship warranty. The warranty is designed to stand behind the installation work Ground Guard performs within the defined project scope—not to promise that every future source of water, structural change or equipment failure is covered.

Warranty at a glance

A clear promise tied to a clear scope of work.

The applicable quote or contract must state that the project qualifies for the 10-year workmanship warranty. The written project documents identify the treated area, work completed and any project-specific conditions.

10-Year Term

The workmanship warranty runs for 10 years from the completion date stated in the applicable Ground Guard project documentation.

Workmanship Focus

Coverage is intended for defects caused by Ground Guard waterproofing workmanship within the original qualifying scope.

Written Eligibility

A project qualifies only when the warranty is included in the written quote, contract or completion documentation for that work.

Products Stay Separate

Sump pumps, membranes and other manufactured products may carry their own manufacturer warranties, which remain separate from Ground Guard workmanship coverage.

Questions people ask

Common project questions

Does every Ground Guard service automatically receive a 10-year warranty?

No. The 10-year workmanship warranty applies only to qualifying waterproofing work when it is stated in the written project documents. Other services and products may have different terms.

Is a sump pump itself guaranteed for 10 years?

Not by the Ground Guard workmanship warranty unless the written project terms expressly say otherwise. Pumps and other manufactured products may have separate manufacturer warranties.

What if water appears somewhere that was not waterproofed?

Water from a different wall, opening, plumbing source, sewer or untreated area is not automatically a defect in the original Ground Guard work. The source has to be evaluated.

What should I keep after the job is finished?

Keep the signed contract or accepted quote, invoice, warranty document, photos and any manufacturer information supplied with the project. These records make future warranty review much easier.
